Carole's favorite question

Hey again!

One of the things Carole loves to share the most is what she's reading/studying in the Word. This always blesses us TREMENDOUSLY!

So, we thought it would be a blessing if some could share with Carole what YOU are currently reading/studying in the Word.....

Carole meets you tomorrow!!!!!!

I'm reading Judges and creeping along its contents. God is showing me a clearer picture of His heart as a Redeemer, as well as my need to refute the lies that Satan throws at me.

OT = good stuff!!!!

Hi Carole! Thank you Shelly for bringing me here!

Currently I am reading Breaking Free by Beth Moore and leading Beth's study "When Godly People do Ungodly Things" Whew - I tell you I have come face to face, and gotten in the face of Satan during this study and reading this book - (the book and study IMO go hand in hand!) I am truly finding what a powerful, loving, strengthening and redeeming Father I have!
Praise Jesus!

Hi Carole! I am excited for you to see your blog!! I am teaching on and researching the Holy Spirit. It is a study by Bill Bright(Campus Crusaders for Christ) Moving Beyond Discouragment and Defeat. This is a little book/study but so powerful. God is really teaching us and bringing out new things about the Spirit!! Who is the Holy Spirit and Why did He Come to Why so few Christians are filled with the Holy Spirit. I am interested in knowing what you are reading or studying? Again, welcome and have fun!!!

I am reading James at the moment. With all the changes taking place in our lives and this world--God is teaching me that perseverance is a GOOD thing.

Currently I am writing a term paper on the First Missionary Journey..So I am all in Luke/Acts and Galatians .. I am mesmerized by the turning to the Gentiles that took place on Cyprus and the New Covenant that said Gentiles did not have to become Jewish!

Also in Exodus as the "I AM" Study continues and in Isaiah 58 for a series of Lessons I am preparing for our church's mission trip.

And Shelly, I *heart* the OT! :)

Hey Carole,
I am gload that you enjoy hearing what others are studying in the Word. I have been staying near Matt. 23...lessons on being a servent...

and I have been in II Corinthians... the whole suffering...comfort...knocked down but NOT destroyed... always being lead in a triumphal procession...

speaks to my heart right now.

Hey Carol,

Welcome to the electronic world of blogging!! Can't wait to hear/read what you have to add to the conversation on Bible study.

As for me, I'm jumping all "around" the Bible this summer. . using some daily devotinals as guides. It's been a very enlightening "free for all." I'm so enjoying what the LORD is revealing.

Crazy for Christ,

Welcome Carole!

I must be the only wimp here because I'm reading Ted Dekkers "Martyr's Song". (Today anyway)

I am also roving around finding examples of trials in the Bible to put on my blog. There are so many wonderful stories, I have a hard time deciding.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do! I've been blogging for 10 days now! (I think?)

God Bless

I LOVE to read! I must do it everyday, for pleasure! Currently reading a book for book club called In Search of Eden by Linda Nichols. It is a novel that I am having a hard time getting into.

As far as the Word goes, I have been bouncing around a bit. My last Bible Study ended in mid June and the next one doesn't start until Sept which I will start preparing for in August, so with that said reading is what I am doing, studying is what I am not doing! (I walk for graduation at the end of July, I have been in Bible School for 18 months...lots of studying!) Got to have a little freedom once in a while! I have ended up in Ruth, Psalms and James alot, but like I said, just reading!

Carole,
I am so glad you liked your surprise! We are so thankful you have joined us in the blogginf world and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
I am currently reading Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer. It is a short 6 week Bible Study that I have truly enjoyed. God continues to affirm His call in my life for me to lead Women's Bible studies and He also has allowed me to be the Women's Ministry Coordinator for our church. I am just overjoyed at how God's plans are truly so much greater than we can even imagine :)
God has me leading Beleiving God in the fall. If you get a chance go to my blog and read my first entry titled - New Beginnings and see how much God has worked in my life over the past 3 yrs.
He is AWESOME!!
Much love,
Kim
